Fiberglass Base Sheet Roofing

Leakbarrier glass base is designed for use as the initial or base ply in built up and modified bitumen roof systems.

It is manufactured from a tough inorganic fiberglass mat then coated on both sides with a weathering grade asphalt coating and then covered with white sand fines to prevent sticking in the roll. It may also be used in built up roofing applications. Certainteed glasbase base sheet is designed for use as a base sheet for both hot and cold applied inorganic built up roofing systems. This sheet is suitable as a vapor retarder with a solid mopping of asphaltic material under roof insulation or between multiple layers of insulation.

The sealed sheet also serves as an effective flame retarder for the application of torch applied modified bitumen membranes. Gap fiberglass base sheet is applied over the flat roofing deck or insulation as a base sheet by mechanical fasteners or hot asphalt before the application of build up roofing systems. Mule hide s g2 base is a fiberglass mat coated with an oxidized asphalt blend which provide enhanced weathering and aging characteristics. Permaply 28 is designed for use as the first or base sheet in built up roofing or modified bitumen roof assemblies.

Henry 604 25 fiberglass base sheet is a heavy duty asphalt coated sheet with a heavyweight non woven fiberglass mat suitable for use in fire retardant membrane assemblies built up roofing systems ply sheets and base sheets. It is ideal for applications involving mechanical fasteners hot asphalt or cold adhesives. Exceptionally pliable easy to handle and lays flat. Firestone channel venting base is an oxidized asphalt coated fiberglass base sheet with granules on the underside of the membrane.

Makes it suitable as an intermediate or ply felt in cold applied built up and modified bitumen roof assemblies. There is a slight grid pattern embossed into the granules to further aid in venting latent moisture in the existing roof system or deck. Mule hide g2 base is designed as a base sheet for mule hide torch applied modified roofing applications. It is suitable for use in the construction of various types of membranes for both new construction and reroofing over a variety of substrates.

Tri ply 75 base sheet is a premium roofing base sheet constructed with a fiberglass mat reinforcing that is coated on both sides to ensure a closed sheet design to prevent asphalt bleed through.
